I am a highly qualified English Language Arts 8 instructor with 27 years experience teaching at the eighth grade level. I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of South Alabama (Secondary Education with Specializations in English Language Arts and Social Studies Grades 6 - 12). I also hold a Master's degree from Grand Canyon University (Curriculum and Instruction: Technology Integration in the Classroom). I am one of the original Causey Tigers and this year I celebrate my twenty-second year at Causey.

I am a Louisiana native and a former member of the LSU Golden Band from Tigerland. In addition to teaching, I enjoy kayak fishing, writing, and drawing.
